
Establishment of Coorperative
Cooperatives are business entities whose members are individuals or cooperative legal entities, with the aim of advancing common welfare based on cooperative principles. The establishment of cooperatives in Indonesia is regulated by Law Number 25 of 1992 concerning Cooperatives.
Minimum Membership: A minimum of 20 members is required to establish a cooperative.
Articles of Association: A document containing the cooperative's rules, such as objectives, organizational structure, and membership.
Founding Members Meeting: Meeting to discuss and ratify the articles of association.
Deed of Establishment: An official document drawn up before a notary.
Approval: The deed of establishment must be approved by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights or an authorized official.
Registration: Cooperatives must be registered with the local cooperative office.
Authorized Capital: Cooperatives must have authorized capital in accordance with the articles of association.
